Gifts of Life is an exciting new photographic project by Sarah Milne in partnership with the national organ donation awareness charity 'Live Life Then Give Life'.

The work captures people who are waiting for or who have received a gift of life in the form of a transplant. It also explores the impact on those left behind when someone, sadly, does not receive their gift in time to save their life. Gifts of Life also incorporates a set of photos by the photographer Holly Cocker exploring the relationship between live kidney donors and their recipients. Holly received a kidney from her friend in 2008. Sarah is Mum to William who, at the age of four, received a small bowel transplant in November 2008.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THE EXHIBITION AT THE MENIER GALLERY LONDON ON DEC 14th - 18th HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL LATER IN 2010
